TERMS AND CONDITIONS
LUGGAGE CHECK-IN
LUGGAGE STORAGE CONDITIONS BELOW.
Bagbee ehf, Bjargargata 1, 102 Reykjavik. Reg.no: 471122-1220, VAT number 146690, reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
BOOKINGS
Your Booking is subject to these Terms and by continuing the Booking process you accept these Terms.
Your Booking is completed upon our confirmation which you will receive at the email address you have registered.
We reserve the right to refuse any Booking at our discretion and if we do so we will send you an email notification to that effect.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
All Bookings can be canceled or amended free of charge up to 24 hours before the time of collection.
We will endeavor not to cancel or change your Booking once it has been accepted. However, from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary and we reserve the right to do so.
OBLIGATIONS OF CUSTOMER
You warrant that you have the authority to deal with the Luggage and its contents.
You warrant that the Luggage does not contain “Excluded Items” or “Prohibited Items”
You must provide valid and accurate information at the time of Booking and provide requested documentation and be present at the time of Luggage Collection.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for entering the correct data to be able to use the Services which are available through the Web Application.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
The price of the Services is set out in our Price List in force at the time we confirm your Booking.
We require payment in advance for the Services at the time of the Booking.
COLLECTION OF LUGGAGE / LUGGAGE CHECK-IN
Passenger must be present at the anticipated time for collection.
Upon Collection of the Luggage, one person from each booking is required to present their boarding pass and passport (or government issued ID) to the driver.
Hold luggage allowance must have been purchased and be a part of the airline booking
Passengers are responsible for obtaining their boarding passes before the Bagbee driver´s arrival.
With failure to perform one or more of the afformentioned items, BagBee reserves the right to leave the pick-up location and cancel the order, in which case refunds will not be granted.
LUGGAGE REQUIREMENTS
All Luggage must comply with the requirements of the specific Airline concerned.
BagBee reserves the right to deny check-in of any special luggage that does not fit within the airline or security requirements, or if BagBee has reasonable concerns that the baggage will not be accepted by the airline or is not apporved by the authorities.
SECURITY
As part of our security procedures, your Luggage may be screened by our personnel or subcontractors.
Your Luggage will not be opened and/or searched by our personnel or on our behalf without your consent save where we are required to do so by any customs, aviation authority, police force, or any other regulatory or governmental authority or the Airport operator.
PERSONAL DATA
You agree that we may process information relating to you in accordance with our privacy policy, which can be found in the privacy policy.
FORCE MAJEURE
We shall not be obliged to fulfill any obligation, including any statutory and/or agreed warranty obligation, if we are prevented from doing so by force majeure.
LIABILITY
We shall have no liability for loss of or damage to excluded Items or prohibited Items.
The liability for damage, loss, deterioration, theft, or robbery suffered by Luggage and/or its contents is limited to the liability of each airline.
In order to receive compensation for damages to the Luggage, the Passenger must justify the real value of the Luggage and/or its contents.
We shall not be liable for damage resulting from our compliance with laws or government regulations, orders, or requirements.
INSURANCE
It is your responsibility to ensure that the Luggage is insured to the value of its contents. We do not insure any Luggage independently, as we do not have access to details of their contents and value.

Any notifications made by you shall be in writing and shall be directed to the following address:

CHANGES
We reserve the right to amend these Terms. These Terms may be amended by us at any time.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All trade names, trademarks, and service marks on the Web Application are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use our trade names or trademarks in connection with any product or service that is not ours, or in any manner that is likely to cause confusion
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts in Reykjavik, Iceland.
LUGGAGE STORAGE
1. Company Information
The luggage storage services are provided by BagBee ehf, Bjargargata 1, 102 ReykjavĂk, Iceland. Reg. no: 471122-1220 | VAT no: 146690 BagBee reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or storing luggage at BagBee’s manned luggage storage depot (“Storage Depot”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
3. Storage Service
3.1 BagBee provides luggage storage services at its manned Storage Depot in ReykjavĂk. 3.2 Storage is provided on a paid, temporary basis only and does not constitute long-term warehousing. 3.3 Storage is subject to availability, operating hours, and BagBee’s security procedures.
4. Storage Period
4.1 The storage period begins when the luggage is handed over to BagBee staff and payment is completed. 4.2 The storage period ends when the luggage is collected by the customer or their authorized representative. 4.3 Storage is charged per item and per time period as displayed at the Storage Depot or on BagBee’s website. 4.4 Any storage exceeding the paid period may result in additional charges.
5. Customer Obligations
5.1 You confirm that you are authorized to store the luggage. 5.2 You must provide accurate personal and contact information when requested. 5.3 You must collect your luggage within the agreed storage period and during opening hours. 5.4 You must present the issued receipt, ticket, or identification method when reclaiming luggage.
6. Prohibited and Excluded Items
6.1 The following items must not be stored:
Cash, securities, or valuable documents
Jewelry, precious metals, or high-value items
Food, perishable goods, or liquids likely to leak
Living plants or animals
Waste or contaminated goods
Flammable, explosive, toxic, radioactive, or hazardous materials
Firearms, ammunition, weapons, or illegal goods
6.2 BagBee reserves the right to refuse storage of any luggage that appears unsafe, unsuitable, or unlawful.
7. Inspection and Security
7.1 For safety and security reasons, BagBee may visually inspect luggage before acceptance. 7.2 Luggage will not be opened without customer consent unless required by law, authorities, or emergency situations. 7.3 BagBee stores luggage in supervised and secure conditions but cannot guarantee absolute protection against all risks.
8. Collection of Luggage
8.1 Luggage will only be released to the person presenting the correct receipt, claim ticket, or agreed identification. 8.2 BagBee is entitled to return luggage to any person presenting valid proof of claim. 8.3 BagBee is not responsible for luggage released to a person who presents correct claim credentials.
9. Failure to Collect / Abandoned Luggage
9.1 If luggage is not collected by the end of the paid storage period, additional storage fees will apply. 9.2 If luggage remains uncollected for 30 days after the final storage day, it may be considered abandoned. 9.3 BagBee reserves the right to sell, donate, or dispose of abandoned luggage to cover unpaid charges, without further notice.
10. Liability
10.1 BagBee is responsible for exercising reasonable care while luggage is in its custody. 10.2 BagBee is not liable for:
Loss or damage to prohibited or excluded items
Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by the nature of the contents
Indirect or consequential losses
10.3 Any liability for loss or damage is limited to the proven actual value of the luggage, excluding contents of special or sentimental value.
11. Insurance
11.1 Customers are responsible for arranging their own insurance for stored luggage and contents. 11.2 BagBee does not provide insurance coverage for stored items.
12. Force Majeure
BagBee shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or power outages.
13. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with BagBee’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
14. Amendments
BagBee reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be effective upon publication or display at the Storage Depot.
15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of ReykjavĂk, Iceland.
